Venice Theatre auditions are open to the community.

  • During the Fall Musical Auditions, actors will be auditioning for the directors of both 9 to 5 and A Christmas Carol at the same time. You only need to sign up for one audition slot even if you are interested in more than one show. Show-specific callbacks will be by invitation on the date indicated under each show description.
  • Actors of all races, ethnicities, cultures, shapes, and sizes are encouraged to audition.
  • If you are not available to attend an audition in person, WE ACCEPT SELF-TAPED VIDEO AUDITIONS. Submissions for specific shows must be received no later than the first day of scheduled auditions. You may send a general audition submission at any time via a Youtube link or a link from your cloud to auditions@venicetheatre.net.
  • Please familiarize yourself with the shows before auditioning. To request perusal scripts, email auditions@venicetheatre.net

Director, "9 to 5"

An award-winning actor, director and choreographer, Brad’s work has been seen across the United States and Canada. He holds a B.F.A. from the University of Oklahoma and served as assistant director to Broadway directors Fran Soeder and Joe Layton. He has been seen in a number of national theatre tours and national commercials. He is thrilled to call Venice Theatre “home” and to have the privilege of guiding the next generation of young actors to the stage.

Director, "A Christmas Carol"

Alyssa Goudy is thrilled to be returning to direct this wonderful show for Venice Theatre. Previous directing credits include co-director of VT’s 2023 production of A Christmas Carol and director of Moana JR., Rock of Ages MSE, Much Ado About Nothing, and more. Some previous VT stage management credits include Reefer Madness, Hamlet, and Hamlet POV (SETC Stage Management Award). She is the Special Events Production Manager for VT, coordinating the International Festival for 2026, and scheduling and calendaring for all productions.
